Do not recommend this range. Aqua-Lift self cleaning oven is worthless. It does not clean like a like the old self cleaning ovens. Stainless steel trim keeps peeling. Had it replaced twice and it still peels. The way the oven is vented, it makes kitchen very warm when baking. This is a very poor design. Burners are not a constant heat like the old electric elements.

We purchased this range which was installed one year and 10 days ago. I am not a complainer, just an informer. Problems: Scratches and mars from pans making contact with the bar at the top of the panel housing the knobs appeared within one month. The vent bar at the back cannot be removed for cleaning. Food particles, dust, etc., will build up in this space. The oven light continuously burns out. We finally gave up on it after replacing it a number of times. The small piece on the inside of the knobs where they attach to the knob stem break easily. The knob just spins and it's necessary to push down hard to make it work, but it is then difficult to judge exactly what setting it is at. Design Flaws: The small warming burner in back is ineffective and, therefore, wastes space. It takes away the flexibility of being able to cook in 3 large pots/pans simultaneously. The self-cleaning feature is anything but - unless by "self" they mean YOU. It uses steam and tries to tell you it's innovative technology which works in less than an hour (impossible). You have to clean yourself before and after because of its lack of effectiveness. You have to put the water in and take it out at the end. Bottom line: If you buy it, your recourse is to spend hours on the phone. Their solution: The prospect of having an untold amount of service calls to try to resolve these issues. This is the only resolution I was offered. I did offer to have them replace this model with an upgraded model for which I would pay the difference. The phone customer service representative was very cordial and respectful. However, I was told by her that she would not even submit my request for consideration.
