This 30-inch cooktop features induction technology that uses electromagnetic energy to generate instant heat directly to your cookware without spreading the heat across the entire cooking surface. I am very pleased with the rapid heating of a burner when I use the cook top. Food reaches the cooking temperature and cools down rapidly when I change the control. It is so easy to clean in the event of a spill.. I am very pleased and so glad I selected this appliance.

New to induction cooking, like that it is quick to heat and lower like using gas. Just wished the controls were easier to see as well as the cooking elements.

A little noisy. Cooks similar to gas. Poor installation instructions regarding the brackets. Make you purchase glue that is over $100 for the tube if your cooktop is going into a granite or quartz top....that's silly!
